Open Track Day at Road America with Hawk HP Plus Brake Pads
I took my 01 Mustang Cobra to Road American for an open track day with Hawk HP Plus brake pads. They performed very well, no brake fade or loss of braking force throughout the track day. What really suprised me was how well the brakes lasted. I normally go through a full set of pad during an open track event like this. Hawk HP Plus
These pads are great. I use them for track days at Road Atlanta. They don't fade and I can get 3 or 4 track days out of them. They are great on the street as well but are very dusty. I usually change over to a ceramic pad on the street. I wish I could get the stopping power of these without the dust.

GREAT STREET/AUTOCROSS AND OPEN TRACK BRAKE PAD
I have used Hawk HP Plus brake pads on my 1997 Mustang Cobra for about 10 years. During that time, I have tried a few other brands as well, plus some other types of Hawk Brake Pads. The Hawk HP Plus has great initial bite and does not fade too bad during long sessions on the road courses. Rotor wear is not too bad, but brake dust is a bit excessive, so keep your wheels clean! Hawk HP Plus Brake Pads
These pads hold up to hard braking for sessions lasting about 20 minutes and are not too hard on rotors. Hawk has some more aggressive pads, but since the car is not a dedicated track car (yet), I have found the HP Plus is a good compromise for street and track.

perfect stopping power
Got these so i can take my car to the track to to time trail and just go to a couple of tracks works perfect. Track use only they can be noisy . but stops the best
